Don’t worry—you don’t need a degree in carology. Just head to the official Motability website and search for “BMW.” They update the list every quarter, so you’ll see current models like the i4 electric gran coupé or the X3 SUV. If you’re feeling fancy, look for the M Sport trim—it adds sporty bumpers and bigger wheels that make you look like you’re going fast, even when you’re stuck behind a tractor.
Pro tip: book a test drive. Yes, even on Motability. You’ll get to smell that new car scent and adjust the seat to your exact liking. And if you’re nervous about the cost, remember: your mobility allowance covers the lease. No hidden fees, no nasty surprises (except maybe the price of your new favourite coffee travel mug).
A final little story to warm your heart
Last week, I saw a dad at the school gates in a BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer. He had his twins in the back, a dog in the boot, and a smile on his face that said, “I’m winning today.” He told me he’d been worried about fitting everything in, but the Motability advisor showed him how the seats fold flat. “Now I can haul my daughter’s cello and still look cool,” he laughed. That’s the spirit.
So, go ahead—check the full list. Whether you’re after a city slicker, a family hauler, or an electric whisperer, BMW has a Motability car that fits your life. It’s not just a car; it’s a little slice of everyday joy with a badge you’ll be proud to show off. And remember: you deserve to arrive with a smile, even if your destination is just the dentist.
