The best advice I ever got? Make several pieces at once. While one dries, you sculpt another. It’s like doing laundry—throw one load in, start another.
But let’s be honest: most of us still end up checking our clay like it’s a text from a crush. That’s fine. It’s part of the charm.
So, how long does air dry clay take? Long enough to test your willpower, but short enough that you’ll forget how frustrating it was once you finally hold that dry, solid creation in your hands. And then you’ll start a new piece—and the cycle begins again.
