Don’t put the pitcher in the dishwasher. The heat will warp the plastic and ruin the gasket. Hand wash only, you lazy genius. Don’t use bleach, ammonia, or any harsh cleaners—they’ll bond with the plastic and leach into your water later.
And for the love of all that is hydrating, never scrub the inside of the filter hump (that bump in the reservoir). You’ll break the seal. Just rinse it gently with water if it looks dusty. Let the filter do its job.
