First thing’s first: hit that Memories icon. It’s the little circle below the capture button that looks like a stack of photos. Tap it. Seriously, do it now. This is your personal vault. It’s where Snaps go when they’re not evaporating into the ether like a ghost at a rave.
Inside, you’ll see all your saved Snaps and Stories. It’s like walking into a museum of your own life, but with more blurry food pics and questionable selfies. The app doesn’t save everything automatically—you have to save them first. But if you did? Boom. They’re right here.
How to Save a Snap (Before It Vanishes)
Here’s the golden rule: if you want to see a memory, you have to make it a memory. While viewing a Snap you like, look for the little floppy disk icon. That’s right—the floppy disk. Tap it. Poof, it’s saved to Memories.
You can also tap the three dots (or the downward arrow, depending on your phone) and choose “Save.” Do this immediately after you send or receive a Snap. Otherwise? Gone. Like that leftover pizza you swore you’d eat. No second chances unless you’re a time-traveling wizard.
