The Egyptians relied heavily on manpower to build the pyramids, with thousands of workers laboring to move massive stone blocks into place. It's estimated that it took around 20 years to build the Great Pyramid of Giza, with a workforce of around 100,000 laborers. That's a lot of elbow grease!
