First, don’t lie and say it’s a “pass” on your CV. That’s like saying you’re “between jobs” when you got fired. Be honest. Honesty is cheaper than therapy.
Second, ask yourself: Do I need this grade 3 for my future? If you’re applying for a course that requires a 4 in English, then you’ll need to resit. But if it’s a subject you hate and never want to see again? Congrats, you’re free. Burn the textbook (responsibly, please).
Third, remember that exams are not IQ tests. They test how good you are at exams. Some of the most successful humans on Earth failed school. Steve Jobs dropped out. Einstein failed Maths. Okay, that last one is a myth, but you get the point.
