Aldi is obsessed with efficiency. Their stores are tiny. Their employees are ninjas. But they also care about time off.
Aldi opening times for Easter 2026: Good Friday, Easter Monday and more
They close on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday. That’s five days a year where you can’t buy a bag of apples.
Compare that to Walmart—open on everything. Aldi is the cool, stubborn friend who says, “Nope, I’m relaxing today.” Respect it.
What If I Really, Really Need Aldi on Easter Monday?
Okay, dramatic much? But fine. Check their website or app. Aldi updates holiday hours by late March 2026.
You can also call your local store. The poor worker who answers will probably sigh and say, “We’re closed.” But at least you’ll know.
Or—this is wild—plan ahead. Buy extra pasta, sauce, and cheese on Saturday. Make a lazy lasagna. You’ll survive.
