Think about it: Patrick has been on the Square for over two decades. He’s survived dramatic storylines, family feuds, and even a stroke on screen. His real-life resilience is just as impressive. Rudolph Walker is currently 85 years old and still bringing that calm, fatherly energy to the set.

Compare it to those old rock stars you assume are dead but then see performing at Glastonbury. You think, “Wait, he’s still alive? That’s brilliant!” That’s exactly the vibe here. It’s a happy surprise, not a tragedy.
The Real Lesson
Next time you see a scary headline about a soap star, take a breath. Scroll down. Check the date. Chances are, it’s an old rumor dusted off for clicks. Patrick Trueman is alive and well. Rudolph Walker is still cracking jokes and sipping tea.
And honestly? That’s way more interesting than a fake death. It’s a story of longevity, of a man who has been entertaining us for decades. That’s a win. So go ahead—watch an episode, smile when Patrick gives some sage advice, and know the actor behind that mustache is perfectly fine.
If anything, the only thing that’s “dead” is the rumor itself. And that’s a relief. So, what’s the craziest soap opera death rumor you’ve ever believed? Spill the tea in the comments—or better yet, just enjoy knowing Patrick is still holding court in Albert Square.
