First, always check the queues before you commit to a changing room. A general rule: if the line snakes past the children’s section, it’s a skip. Instead, buy the item, take it home, try it on, and return if needed—the returns policy is surprisingly straightforward. Save your energy for the buying, not the waiting.
Second, go with a loose plan, not a list. The magic of Primark is the discovery. You might walk in needing a plain white t-shirt, but you’ll walk out with a faux-fur gilet, a chia pet, and three pairs of Halloween socks. That’s not a failure—that’s the spirit of the game.
Finally, if you’re driving to Westfield Stratford, park in the Bluewater side of the car park to be closer to the mall’s entrance near Primark. It’s a tiny hack that saves you 200 steps, which is 200 steps you can use to buy another pair of discounted leggings.
