The game's all about balance - you need to work with your teammates to take down the enemy team, using your unique abilities and upgrades to turn the tide of battle. With a bunch of different classes to choose from, you can experiment with different playstyles and find what works best for you. From the stealthy sneak attacks of the zombie's "Imp" class to the plants' "Peashooter" class, which lays down a withering field of fire, there's tons of variety.
The standout mechanics are all about adding a bit of spice to the standard shooter formula - like the plants' ability to spawn potted plants that can attack enemies, or the zombies' "Zombie Boss" ultimate ability, which lets them call in a massive robot to wreak havoc on the battlefield. These twists keep things fresh and exciting, even after hours of playtime. The game's also got a great sense of humor, with silly character designs and ridiculous animations.
