Here’s the thing: every morning, I walk past the Student Union coffee stand and see the same faces—students juggling laptops, dreams, and a little bit of anxiety. Tuition might make you groan, but daily life at SDSU is the real payment. That sun hitting your face as you walk to class? Free. The friend who saves you a seat in the library? Priceless.
So, keep your receipts, file for aid, and don’t let the price tag define your experience. You’re not buying an education—you’re investing in a version of yourself that will one day look at that tuition bill and smile, because it was the start of everything.
Now go enjoy that burrito from the student union. You’ve earned it.
