Imagine this: you park, you walk all the way from the lot, you’re pumped. Then a security guard smiles and points to your trusty backpack.
That backpack—the one you’ve taken to every concert and road trip—is now a no-go. You’re handed a choice: toss it, or walk it back to the car.
Neither option is fun. Trust me, I’ve seen a grown man try to stuff a backpack into a trash can while crying over a hot dog. Don’t be that guy.
The one simple rule
Soldier Field has a clear bag policy. It’s not a suggestion—it’s the law of the land. Only bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC, and no bigger than 12” x 6” x 12”, are allowed.
Think of it like a fishbowl for your stuff. Or a really fancy Ziploc bag. You can also bring a small clutch purse, about the size of your hand (4.5” x 6.5”). That’s it.
Everything else—backpacks, coolers, fanny packs, camera bags—stays home. It’s strict because it keeps the lines moving and the stadium safe.
