Think about your favourite playlist. You don’t judge it by the number of songs; you judge it by the vibe and the flow. A Level 2 Merit is like that mid-album banger—not the intro, not the finale, but the track that makes the whole journey worthwhile.
In daily life, that’s what a Merit represents: consistent, reliable effort that gets results. Whether you’re cooking dinner, finishing a project at work, or helping a friend move flats, the Merit mindset is about doing the hard thing well without needing a gold star. It’s the sweet spot between “good enough” and “obsessive perfection.” So next time you see that grade on a certificate, smile. You’ve earned it—just like that perfect flat white on a Tuesday morning.
