Most of the time, the Lions play on Sunday at 1:00 PM Eastern during the regular season. That’s the classic, cozy slot—like your go-to order at a diner. It’s the perfect time to grab a snack, settle into the couch, and watch the Honolulu blue take over your afternoon.
But here’s the thing: 1:00 PM isn’t set in stone. It changes, and that’s where the fun begins.
When the Lions Steal the Spotlight (Late Games)
Sometimes, the Lions get bumped to the 4:25 PM slot. Why? Because they’re playing a big-name opponent, or the game has playoff implications. It’s like your band moving from the opening act to the headliner. Suddenly, the whole country is watching.
Ever notice how a 4:25 game feels different? The sun is lower, the energy is higher, and you’ve already finished your early dinner. It’s the adult version of a Saturday night movie—except with more roaring fans and less butter.
