Now, let’s talk about the two hours before kickoff. This is where chaos lives. You’ll wonder why you agreed to host a watch party. Your friend Dave will ask if “they can bring their dog, which is really supportive.” The answer: no. But you already said yes.
Here’s a tip: set your watch to “LSU Time,” which is 15 minutes faster than real time. This makes you feel early, but you’re still late. It’s a tradition that dates back to when the stadium was also a swamp. Nobody knows why, but we all respect it.
What If You Miss It?
If you miss the kickoff, don’t panic. The first five minutes of an LSU game are usually commercials, a referee explaining the penalty flag like it’s a new invention, and a close-up of the coach looking constipated. You haven’t missed the good stuff yet. The good stuff happens in the fourth quarter, when someone’s grandmother runs onto the field.
What Time Does LSU vs Florida College World Series Game 3 Start
Surprising fact: LSU has won more night games after 8:00 PM than any other SEC team. This is because the purple uniforms are scientifically proven to be invisible after dark, or because the opposing team gets spooked by the noise. Geaux figure.
