Okay, let’s start with the easiest bit. Most Saturdays at 3:00 PM are still sacred. If you see that time, you can relax. Pull up a chair, grab a cuppa, and prepare for Arteta to pace the sideline like a man who’s had six espressos.
But here’s the kicker—pun absolutely intended. That 3:00 PM slot is getting rarer than a quiet day in the Arsenal transfer window. TV money, my friend, ruins everything. Even your weekend plans.
And don’t even get me started on the 12:30 PM kickoffs. That’s not a football match; that’s a punishment for supporting a big club. You’re still half-asleep, hair a mess, and the players look like they just rolled out of bed too.
The Monday Night Specials
Monday nights are an Arsenal specialty. It’s like the league knows we love a dramatic, slow-burn start to the work week. You’ll be sitting there at 8:00 PM, dinner congealing on your plate, screaming at the telly.
Why 8:00 PM? Because the TV gods decided that 7:45 was too sensible. And let’s be real—a Monday night Arsenal match is just an excuse to hate your Tuesday morning 10% more. You know it’s true.
Then there’s the Sunday afternoon chaos. Is it 2:00 PM? 4:30 PM? Some weird tweener time like 3:45? Honestly, I think they pick times with a dartboard. “Let’s make the fans sweat—schedule it for 2:15 PM.”
