Alright, drumroll, please… Tomorrow’s Detroit Lions game kicks off at 1:00 PM Eastern Time. Yes, that’s right. One o’clock sharp. Not 1:05, not “whenever the pregame show ends.” The Lions are punctual—even if their pass rush sometimes isn’t.
If you’re in a different time zone, do the math. If you’re on the West Coast, that’s 10:00 AM—which means you’re legally allowed to have a Bloody Mary before noon. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. The Lions appreciate early risers.
But Wait—Is It a Monday or Thursday Game?
Hold up. Did you say “tomorrow” is actually Thursday? Because the Lions love to sneak in a Thursday night thriller. If that’s the case, then the game is at 8:15 PM Eastern. But let’s be real: if it’s a Thursday, you already knew that, because your whole week has been a countdown. You’ve been refreshing your NFL app like it’s a stock ticker.
And if it’s a Monday night game? Same deal—8:15 PM. But Monday games feel special, like a surprise dessert after a long day. You’ll need extra coffee at work, but it’s worth it for the roar of the crowd.
