We care because Ruby’s story is ours. We all want to escape the rat race. We all want a cottage with a thatched roof. But we’re too scared to do it.
Ruby did it. She swapped fame for fresh air. She swapped applause for silence. And she’s happier than ever.
It’s a juicy contradiction. The loudest woman in British TV now lives where a mouse would feel loud. That’s why we’re obsessed. We want to know: Can we do it too?
The Final Punchline
So, where does Ruby Wax live now? Not in a city. Not in a compound. Not even in a glossy magazine.
She lives in a storybook house, down a winding lane, surrounded by sheep. She meditates at dawn. She swears at the WiFi. She laughs at herself.
And that, my friend, is the best place to live. Right where your own messy, funny, quiet soul wants to be. Go find your Oxfordshire. Even if it’s just a corner of your couch.
