I once watched a Phillies-Marlins game with my grandmother. She didn’t know a slider from a sinker, but she loved when the announcer said “and that ball is outta here!” She’d cheer and clap her hands like a kid. That’s the beauty of this series. You don’t need to be a stats guru to enjoy it.
So, who do the Phillies play next? The Marlins. And you should watch because it’s fun, it’s low-stakes for your blood pressure, and it reminds you why you love this silly game. Grab a cold drink, text a friend who’s a Marlins fan to tease them, and settle in.
Baseball is back. The Phils are playing. And honestly? There’s no better way to spend an evening. See you at the ballpark—or at least on your couch.
