After the final out, you check your phone. You have seventeen missed calls from your mom. She wanted to know the score. You forgot to text her. Classic. But you’ll call her back and re-tell every pitch like you were on the field yourself. That’s the rule: you have to sound like you saw it all, even if you were hiding in the bathroom during the seventh inning.
And that’s the beauty of asking, “Who does LSU play today baseball?” It’s not just about the team. It’s about the chaotic, beautiful, ridiculous routine that makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger. It’s a Tuesday afternoon distraction. A reason to text your buddies. An excuse to eat a hot dog at 10 AM. You don’t question it. You just live it.
So go ahead. Check the schedule. See who LSU plays today. I bet it’s a good one. And if it’s not? Doesn’t matter. You’ll watch anyway. Because that’s what you do. You’re a Tiger. You’re in. Play ball.
