TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids. That’s fancy science talk for “stuff floating in your water that you can’t see.”
Think minerals, salts, or even tiny bits of metal. Your meter measures this in parts per million, or PPM.
It won’t tell you if your water has germs or tastes like old socks. That’s a job for a different gadget. But it’s perfect for checking how “hard” your water is.
